The KPT has to be about one of the most boring pubs in kilmarnock. It lives on past glories. If and i say if i go to the pub after college this year i think i will venture to different pastures. I can remember going into the KPT last year and it was the same faces, sitting in the same seats moaning about the same things day after day after day. I go to the pub to relax after a day at college, i dont go to hear people moaning about other students or lecturers. The KPT has turned into nothing less than a gala bingo for students, a gossip haven for the gossipers. I know they are social scientists (ss) but the way they speak and conduct themselves in their persecution of others you would be forgiven for thinkink that they were a faction of Hitlers very own SS.

Well thwart, you'll be sitting by yourself. (no change there then) The kpt is cosy and local. Most of us know the bar staff by name and they are glad of our trade unlike most 'god,it's the students' attitude of other pubs. We are creatures of habit. Your wee sub heading below that picture should say, always speak your mind, but if you've got nothing interesting to say-shut the hell up!!! . . . especially when it begins with - 'it's not often I agree with mel gibson!'

I have been an avid reader of this site for some time now,but recently I have came across a totally offensive piece about Jewish people and their religion. The member who wrote this seems to enjoy offending people. It was either a childish way of drawing attention to themselves, or they are indeed racist.I hope that there isn't a Jewish community near Kilmarnock college.

The post I was talking about Mr Keegan was written by another. With the jist of it being Jews are war mongers and simply evil, throughout their existance. I thought that it was a bold statement and angered me just a little. Maybe I should have let it go-as it doesn't concern me-but I didn't. So, using the cover of 'Ameer', I posted my reply,in thinking that they surely would not want to step on any other races toes-by coming back at me with some well thought out witty remark (as they so often do) From now on I will state my/their name, to avoid any future misunderstanding.Or inturn cease use of the forum. Apologies given Mr Keegan. I'm obviously not going to have a (verbal) pop at you,captain-my captain, as you hold all the cards!!
Anyway, later that day...
~" A well-known scientist (some say it was Bertrand Russell) once gave a public lecture on astronomy. He described how the earth orbits around the sun, in turn, orbits around the center of a vast collection of stars called our galaxy. At the end of the lecture, a little old lady at the back of the room got up and said: 'What you have told us is rubbish. The world is really a flat plate supported on the back of a giant tortoise.' The scientist gave a superior smile before replying, 'What is the tortoise standing on?' 'You're very clever, young man, very clever,' said the old lady. 'But it's turtles all the way down!"~

;D No need for that Mr K. The apologies are all mine.
Can I also say what a good site myspace.com is. I think you should add your profile on to it...when you have a spare few minutes. Good advertising!

They say "Success is a journey - not a destination" and I am sure that is never more true than being successful in Psychology. It is a journey I look forward to with avid anticipation and one which I am confident will be aided greatly by your site - many thanks!
