Just making my usual drop by that I do every so often, and can't help but think - what the hell happened to this forum??!!!
I understand that Gerry is no longer lecturing - but what hell happened to the site?? Surely there are still those out there interested in Psychology, and with a site so full of useful info it is surely a good resource for many! It seems to me that it is a real shame that this site is not being utitlised to its' full potential anymore - I know I for one will certainly miss the debate, the banter and the outright crazieniss of tharttongue - where the hell have you all gone?
I am fortunate enough to keep abreast of Gerry's banter via facebook (don't always agree with it (mostly politically) via facebook, but appreciate it nonetheless - however I genuinely miss the focus of this forum. Whilst I may not be actively involved with psychology, I always found the forum to be interesting and informative, and not least amusing - it seems such a shame that it appears not actively used any longer!
With so many members - here's a call out to all of you - let's keep this page alive - you are all interesting and educated peeps, and this was a great place for discussion, please don't let it die off!!
Best, Lee x

Nice to see you back Lee! I agree, the focus has softened around here, the group core that frequented here have moved up, or on, or out. I remain here daily, but even I have moved over to the book of faces. And if I've moved, it's probably on its way out

Thanks Lee & tinchick.
I guess I was the energy that kept this forum and associated website so popular with visitors and members for such a long time?
But since leaving Mordor Tech I've had the stuffing knocked out of me to be honest.
If I ever return to lecturing I'd become more involved with the Forum again.
Or indeed if people began posting things and not leaving thread ideas entirely up to me!
And yes, I'm causing mayhem on Facebook! I weave psychology, politics and everyday anecdotes together that gets to hundreds of people - in more ways than one.
I would be delighted to see old friends from her join me on FB. Just put in 'Gerard Keegan', 'Glasgow' and up I'll pop.
Love 'n Peace.

I meant that facebook is probably no longer popular, that there's some new Big Thing on the scene, because I'm always last to get with a trend
